LEGENDARY OSCAR, EMMY AND TONY WINNING ACTRESS LIZA MINNELLI GUEST STARS ON 'LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT'
NEW YORK – October 2, 2006 – NBC announced today that legendary Oscar,
Emmy and Tony-winning performer Liza Minnelli will make a special guest
appearance on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," as the grieving
mother of a young actress and beauty queen found murdered. The episode
is slated to air in November. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" airs
Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on NBC.
In the episode, titled "Masquerade," currently shooting in New York
City, Minnelli plays Beth Harner, a former beauty queen whose daughter
Amberleigh was found murdered on Halloween night 1992, and the case
returns to the public eye when a pedophile in exile confesses to her
murder.

Sally Bowles in the 1972 film "Cabaret," Emmy for the 1972 television
special "Liza with a Z," and a special Tony award in 1974 as well as a
second Tony, for "The Act" in 1978, make her one of the most honored
and talented performers of her generation. Minnelli also received a
1990 Grammy Legend Award and Golden Globe awards for both "Cabaret" and
the telefilm "A Time to Live."
"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is a Wolf Films production in
