This was the site's highest single-day number of unique visitors since its coverage of the September 11 attacks, registering a 210% increase for ABC News Digital from a week ago.

    On Monday ABCNEWS.com's coverage brought 2 million unique visitors to the site, a 172% increase compared to the same time last week. The site's increase in video views was 420% over week-ago levels.
