MOLLY SHANNON TO APPEAR IN THREE EPISODES OF ABC'S "PUSHING DAISIES" |

Molly Shannon ("Saturday Night Live," "Evan Almighty") will appear in a three-episode arc of ABC's critically acclaimed new series "Pushing Daisies." Filming begins this week. Shannon will play Dilly Balsam, a competitor of Ned's (Lee Pace) who opens a rival sweets shop across the street from the Pie Hole. Writer/actor Michael White ("The School of Rock," "The Good Girl") will play her brother, Billy Balsam.
"Pushing Daisies" stars Lee Pace as Ned, Anna Friel as Chuck, Chi McBride as Emerson Cod, Ellen Greene as Vivian, with Swoosie Kurtz as Lily and Kristin Chenoweth as Olive Snook. Jim Dale is the narrator.
"Pushing Daisies" airs WEDNESDAYS (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. |
