Neil Patrick Harris donates his winnings to Children International.
NEW YORK, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Actor Neil Patrick Harris, star of
CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," wins $60,452 on the game show "Wheel of
Fortune" and donates his winnings to Children International, a Kansas
City-based child sponsorship organization.
Harris appeared as a celebrity contestant during the show's "Celebrity
Week."
This week the game show couples celebrities like Harris with regular
contestants, and the winnings go to each celebrity's chosen charity. This
is the second time Harris, better known for his role in "Doogie Howser,
M.D.," a popular television show which ran from 1989 to 1993, has
generously donated to Children International.
