"WINNIE THE POOH AND CHRISTMAS TOO!," A YULETIDE CLASSIC, AIRS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, ON THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK
"Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too!," a classic yuletide story, will air TUESDAY, DEC. 11 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast: ABC OAD: 12/6/98)
The animated special continues to receive critical kudos. Nominated for a 1992 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Children's Program category, it was honored by TV Guide as the "most lushly animated" holiday program of all time.
In "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too!," Pooh and Piglet retrieve a letter to Santa, but while trying to add some forgotten Christmas wishes, their plans go amiss. Realizing the letter won't find its way to the North Pole in time, Pooh and Piglet decide to play Santa, with some decidedly comic results!
The vocal cast includes Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh, Peter Cullen as Eeyore, John Fiedler as Piglet, Michael Gough as Gopher, Ken Sansom as Rabbit, Paul Winchell as Tigger and Edan Gross as Christopher Robin.
