Burbank, CA (November 1, 2007) — ABC Family brings together superheroes and Christmas classics with its tenth annual “25 Days Of Christmas” programming event. This year features over 200 hours of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family from December 1- 25. Viewers will see new original movies and return of holiday favorites during primetime as well as from sun up to sun down each Saturday and Sunday. Helping to kick off the holiday season, ABC Family will also air a Harry Potter marathon weekend on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2. This year ABC Family will once again feature the premiere of two original movies starting with Holiday in Handcuffs, Sunday, December 9 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). Melissa Joan Hart (“Sabrina, The Teenage Witch”) and Mario Lopez (“Dancing with the Stars”) star in the arresting holiday tale, Holiday in Handcuffs, a story about a modern young woman who has a breakdown at Christmas and desperately kidnaps a handsome guy to take home to her parents. Can she keep her misdeed a secret from her family and convince them that they are a happy couple or will their Christmas be ruined?

The next original holiday movie, Snowglobe, starring Christina Milian (“Love Don’t Cost A Thing”) and Lorraine Bracco (“The Sopranos”) will premiere Saturday, December 15 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). A mystical Snowglobe transports Angela(Christina Milian), who longs for a classic, perfect Christmas away from her boisterous family, into an idyllic holiday winter wonderland. But, when the two worlds unexpectedly collide, Angela has to make a choice about what really defines her “perfect” Christmas. The cast also includes Josh Cooke, Matt Keeslar and Ron Canada. The film is directed by Ron Lagomarsino and executive produced by Jody Brockway and Craig McNeil and is also produced by Craig McNeil. The film is written by Garrett Frawley and Brian Turner.
