In Memoriam - Jerry Orbach

Jerry Orbach, best known for his long-running role as New York police detective Lennie Briscoe on "Law & Order," passed away yesterday, after fighting a battle against prostrate cancer. He was 69. Mr. Orbach had recently left the long running "Law and Order" and was slated to continue his role of "Lennie Briscoe" in a new spin-off, "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," which was scheduled to premiere in early 2005.
