NBC has announced that it will be releasing the newest DVD collection of the highly rated crime series Law & Order: SVU on September 27th. With Law & Order fans everyone asking for more Law & Order programming this dvd set is sure to meet those needs.
The set includes additional bonus materials and extensive behind-the-scenes footage exclusive to the DVD.
Special Bonus Material includes profiles of detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler, cast interviews discussing the types of cases they are involved in, cast interactions with real SVU detectives, a Behind the Scenes look at the Law & Order: SVU set, and deleted Scenes you won't see anywhere else
The ten-time Emmy(r)-nominated series chronicles the gritty, day-to-day world of the New York Police Department's elite Special Victims Unit and stars Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler and Mariska Hargitay in her Golden Globe(r) Award-winning role as Detective Olivia Benson. Season Two also features the addition of Ice-T as Detective Odafin Tutuola and B.D Wong as forensic psychiatrist George Huang. Dann Florek, Richard Belzer and Stephanie March round out the powerful cast of Law & Order: SVU-The Second Year, which also boasts a star-studded guest roster including Eric Roberts, Margot Kidder, Richard Thomas, Karen Allen, Chad Lowe and others.
